So lately the “Love It or Leave It” message has soared to the top of “clap back” responses for anyone who dares to express any criticism about the current state of affairs in America. Often those who express their criticism or met with the all too familiar “If you hate America so much then go somewhere else”. Just in case the criticizer is not sure where they should be going. Clear direction is offered. “Go back to where you came from”.

Most recently this sentiment was spewed directly from the mouth of the man elected to serve as the president of all American citizens. This of course includes criticizers as well as supporters. However. It is apparent to many of us on a regular basis (almost daily). That there is a certain narcissistic bruised ego driven leader in the White House who cannot tolerate even the most minute criticism. Constructive or otherwise.

News flash: Jesus Was Not an American

We know things have come to a pivotal point when even pastors are emboldened to share such a message as inspiration (or admonishment) for their congregants as seen in the picture above. I personally think that posting this outside of a church is a decision that would probably even have Jesus scratching the woolly (not straight) hair on…
