The other day my husband and I were talking about the (train wreck) unofficial press conference that many of us witnessed on January 22nd less than 24 hours after the inauguration of the 45th president of the United States. We along with many viewers watched and listened as Sean Spicer, the president’s press secretary proceeded to brashly chastise journalists before eventually completely giving in to the temptation of blatantly lying to the American people as well as people all around the world.
After carrying out the dubious orders he had been given. Mr. Spicer finally commenced to sharing some updates about the activities of the current administration. Initially he had stated that this was the purpose for him speaking to the press in the first place.
During the chastisement portion of his speech he launched into a tirade about a false media report regarding inaccurate information. He spoke about a reporter who had posted a tweet saying that the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. had been removed from the Oval office.
