I think you're right when you say we could still celebrate BHM even if we overcome. Tbh, I believe there will always be people (particularly Black people) who will celebrate BHM no matter what happens in America. (Note I am one of those people, lol!)

I also agree with you when you say (and I summarize), Black history is American history! That Justin, is definitely what's up!

Re: the unaware contributions you're right again! There are so many people, theories, inventions, and actions from Black people of which we are unaware. I am constantly learning something new. Committing to completing this series is aiding in my learning :-). Yay!

Re: Pauli Murray. Your response reminded me I'd forgotten to go back and add the link in the story so thank you. I've done that now. I'm actually on Part 5 of the series which I will finish up and submit tomorrow because my writing week has not gone as planned. I'm sure you can relate ;-)!
